Salmy Kennel was established in 1987.

Training professionally since 1991.  

The primary mission is to breed top notch hunting/house 

partners and winning field trial competitors. 

Temperament, bidability, and natural instincts to hunt, retrieve and 

please are most important. No "force" training methods used.

Serving Virginia including the Washington D.C. metro 

area and western Virginia and West Virginia. 

We provide training for  upland hunting, field trial and gun dogs of all breeds. Our facility offers training for all gun dogs. 

Pointer breeds and Labs are welcome and are encouraged to experience our time proven methods for training

 the very best companion whatever your passion.  

We have trained some of the top competitive animals North America. 

Our mission will remain the same as our tradition of over 20 years: to breed, train, hunt and compete with the top dogs in the world.
